When married couple Robin and Paul go on an extended holiday to Morocco, what starts as an exciting trip, soon becomes a nightmare. Paul is there to paint, Robin to learn French. Then suddenly Paul disappears, leaving a bloodstained bedroom and a note implicating Robin in his disappearance. Robin, who becomes a suspect in the ensuing investigation, evades the police and sets out to find him, which becomes an impossible journey. After many experiences and travels in the exotic setting of southern Morocco she ends up being sheltered by a Bedouin family. Of course I will not reveal how the story ends, you will as I did, be turning the pages into the small hours.
